Are you looking to help out your loved ones with their wedding?

Any amount, no matter how small will make a difference on their big day. By using the power of numbers, even a few family members or friends adding just £20/month makes a huge difference to the couples wedding day. Your donation amount will be consolidated with the couples existing payment and used to reduce their total wedding bill to their suppliers.

You are free to help out with as much or as little as you like and there is no obligation to maintain payments if you decide to stop. There is no credit agreement for you to sign, this is purely a donation to help your loved ones.

If you choose to remain anonymous, On the couples monthly statement, your payment will just show as an amount, if you choose to let them know who you are, it will show your name along with the amount for each month that the payment is active.

Tax efficient donation:

From HMRC – You can give away £3,000 worth of gifts each tax year (6 April to 5 April) without them being added to the value of your estate. This is known as your ‘annual exemption’.

You can carry any unused annual exemption forward to the next year – but only for one year.

Each tax year, you can also give away:

  • wedding or civil ceremony gifts of up to £1,000 per person (£2,500 for a grandchild or great-grandchild, £5,000 for a child)
You can use more than one of these exemptions on the same person – for example, you could give your grandchild gifts for her birthday and wedding in the same tax year.

Once your details have been verified against the bride, you will receive a link to set up the direct debit payment or single payment request depending on what you have decided on. Direct Debits are protected under the direct debit guarantee and all card payments are protected by your card issuer. You will receive a monthly update regarding how your money has been allocated. Unfortunately, due to data protection, we cannot include any balances, but you can get this information from the couple, or if you are a parent/grandparent, with the Bride/Groom’s permission, we will happily share this with you.
